ProteoMMX

Chester, UK

April 19th to 21st, 2010

Days to go (approx) to ProteoMMX 2.0

Despite the best efforts of Eyjafjallajokull - (pronounced ay-uh-fyat-luh-yoe-kuutl-ul) the conference went ahead with what should have been the absence of eight of the speakers, and a smaller proportion of attendees. In fact, all talks went ahead (with some being perfect, some a little less so)  through Skype (for the speaker) and a local copy of the slides being presented on the parallel screen. Thanks, remote speakers!

Unfortunately, a smallish number of attendees were unable to attend at the last minute, and although refunds were impossible, we will ensure a special discounted rate for them at ProteoMMX 2.0.

Notable thanks to the AV firm who rebuilt the stage area and made possible high quality delivery of sound through the room.

Thanks also to Waters back office staff for terrific support behind the scenes and the Queen Hotel for making our stay so friendly and welcoming.

We are trying to make available all slides from the speakers to distribute to all participants. These will hopefully be available for download from this site, so please check here or subscribe to the RSS feed to be notified when they are available.
